I really liked how much the sound quality improved, but now I have more problems than before.and I'm not even sure if I want to use the UCA202 to hook up my sampler now if it will make stuff I record delayed or have a crackle in it.

After using my computer for a random amount of time, the sound will be delayed from what is happening on my screen by half a second or so. This method always works for me: close al programs, open fl studio, set driver to ASIO4ALL and then restart fl studio. There is a random crackle in my left speaker from time to time.Ģ. (ii) Try to listen to FL Studio song/pattern via TASCAM US-144 interface (w/ headphones) In Device -> If I chose ASIO devices: I chose 'US-122L / US-144'. I connected my speakers via the UCA202, and it fixed my sound balance problem AND made the sound quality sound better overalll-but after fixing my previous problems, it brought up two more problems.ġ. I can hear the song playing clearly & smoothly via the PC (or headphones plugged into PC). I bought a Behringer UCA202 originally to hook up a sampler to make music with, and then I read it can be used as a DAC. For weeks, I was having a problem where my speakers sound did not sound balanced, with sound generally pulling to the left. This is the settings window in FL Studio. This will bring up a dialog box that has a couple tabs across the top like Midi, Audio, General and File. To get to the settings window in FL Studio, press F10 on your keyboard. When I check settings input is USB, not sure what output should be set up to.

While Windows will use the device as a class compliant playback device using Windows Audio Drivers, you can't hear audio playback or recordings because Studio One relies on a different codec than what Windows provides. On the Advanced tab, you can check what the sample rate of that device is. It is primarily because your device does not have it's ASIO driver installed. Click the speaker icon down in the lower right corner of your tray, open up Playback Devices and click the Properties button. It seems to recognise guitar as input levels move when I pluck strings. In my system, the problem was that Live was set to use 48k Hz sampling, but Windows was set to 44.1k Hz sampling.

I tried asking in the introduction/help section, but I had no replies. Let’s get everything setup to record from our mic. I download ASIO drivers and tried to connect my guitar using a USB to Guitar jack cable.
